What You’ll Be Responsible For
Production Execution
Lead daily roof and floor truss manufacturing operations to meet aggressive production schedules
Identify bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements to maximize throughput
Ensure orders are produced accurately and shipped on time
Team Leadership
Build, coach, and develop production teams and supervisors
Set clear expectations around performance, safety, and accountability
Adjust staffing and production flow based on workload demands
Quality & Safety
Maintain strict adherence to engineered drawings and quality standards
Drive a strong safety culture across the production floor
Lead safety meetings and reinforce best practices daily
Operational Improvement
Reduce waste and improve labor efficiency through process discipline
Partner with leadership on production planning and operational strategy
Support preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently
Materials & Cost Awareness
Monitor material usage and production costs
Coordinate with purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels
What We’re Looking For
Experience leading production in a truss plant or structural component manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production scheduling and workflow management
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-moving manufacturing setting
Knowledge of blueprint reading and engineered component production
Process-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and accountability
Preferred:
Experience with MiTek or similar truss software platforms
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and production activity
Ability to be active on the production floor throughout the day
