Industrial Sales Manager – Multi-Craft Industrial Construction

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Manager to drive business development and client relationships for industrial construction and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record selling structural steel fabrication and erection services, along with experience in miscellaneous steel, ductwork, boilermaker services, rigging, and millwright projects. This role focuses on developing opportunities across multi-craft industrial markets including manufacturing, energy, mining, processing plants, and heavy industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industrial clients, contractors, and plant decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for multi-craft industrial projects
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and bid packages for steel fabrication, erection, and related industrial services
  • Coordinate with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure accurate project scope and pricing
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through contract award
  • Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and customer presentations
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and industrial project opportunities
  • Support long-term strategic growth initiatives within targeted industrial sectors

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial construction or fabrication sales
  • Strong background in structural steel fabrication and erection sales required
  • Experience selling miscellaneous steel, ductwork, boilermaker, rigging, and millwright services preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial construction processes, scheduling, and project execution
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer and project sites as needed
