Job Description

Put your Tekla Structures skills to work on commercial and industrial steel. Our Webster-area team needs a Detailer/Checker who can produce and verify accurate structural and miscellaneous steel shop and erection drawings that move from your desk directly to the shop floor.

Your day-to-day

• Coordinate RFIs and drawing revisions with project managers, engineers, and fabricators
• Build Tekla Structures models and details for structural and miscellaneous steel
• Verify shop, erection, and assembly drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Guide junior detailers and keep drawing output consistent
• Confirm drawings follow AISC standards and project specifications

What you bring

• Checking experience (strongly preferred)
• At least 3 years of Tekla Structures detailing in structural steel
• Good working knowledge of AISC standards, connections, and fabrication practices
• Careful attention to detail and comfort managing multiple projects

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$130K based on experience
