Job Title: Senior Transactional Attorney

About the Opportunity
An exceptional, entrepreneurial opportunity has opened for a senior-level Transactional Attorney to lead and build out a brand-new North Houston presence for a highly respected law firm.
In this role, you will be the sole pioneering attorney in the Kingwood location. This is a unique hybrid of high-level legal practice and local firm leadership, allowing you to act as the "face of the firm" in the community, drive local growth, and eventually build a team around you. If you have been looking for partner-track autonomy without the typical big-firm billable pressure, this is your platform.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead attorney and operational head of the Kingwood, TX office.
Champion local business development efforts, networking, and community engagement to establish and grow the firm’s brand in North Houston.
Manage, draft, and negotiate complex corporate, commercial, and transactional matters for a diverse client base.
Provide strategic legal counsel directly to business owners, executives, and stakeholders.
Oversee the future scaling and hiring for the Kingwood office as growth dictates.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated transactional, corporate, or business law experience.
Leadership Drive: A strong entrepreneurial spirit with the confidence to run an office independently and act as a brand ambassador.
Billable Requirement: A highly attainable 1,500 billable hour target, designed to give you the necessary time to focus on community networking and office growth.
Licensure: Active license to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing.
Connections: Existing ties or a strong desire to embed yourself into the Kingwood/North Houston business community is highly preferred.
