Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of skin, hair, and nail disorders for patients of all ages.
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations, skin cancer screenings, and preventative dermatologic care.
- Evaluate and manage both benign and malignant skin lesions using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Perform in-office dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), and other common dermatologic procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize outstanding clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary clinical staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia.
- Excellent clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
