Assistant Warehouse Manager

Food Distribution & Manufacturing | Virginia

Are you a hands-on warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced food distribution environment? We're partnering with a well-established industry leader to find an Assistant Warehouse Manager who can help drive operational excellence, develop warehouse teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you'll work closely with warehouse leadership to oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, maintain inventory accuracy, and support a culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in managing all warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to maximize performance and accountability
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure efficient product flow throughout the facility
• Help maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and support the continuous operation of warehouse equipment
• Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Support operational planning and execution to meet business goals and customer demands

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience within the food distribution or food manufacturing industry
• Strong inventory management and warehouse operations experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish required

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 - $100,000 base salary
• Annual bonus opportunity up to 20%
