We are looking for a Restoration Manager that is responsible for overseeing projects that repair and restore residential and commercial properties damaged by events such as storms, floods, burst pipes, fires, and mold. This role involves assessing damage, performing cleanup, and executing restoration work to return properties to a safe and functional condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency property damage situations (water, fire, storm, mold, etc.)
- Assess the extent of damage and develop a restoration plan
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and debris removal
- Clean and sanitize affected areas, including mold remediation when needed
- Repair structural damage, including drywall, flooring, and minor carpentry
- Operate and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Follow safety procedures and industry regulations
- Communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
- Document job progress and complete required reports
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in construction, restoration, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of water/fire/mold restoration techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including emergency on-call shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Residential and commercial job sites
- Exposure to damaged structures, moisture, debris, and odors
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
