Job Description

Gpac is working with a well-established food manufacturer that is seeking a Machine Operator at their facility in the Milton area of Vermont.

Job description:

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for the operation of production machinery and equipment.

Must have manufacturing experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow company policies and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Accurately measure and record in-process line checks (temperature, pressure, etc.).
  • Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
  • Load and operate machinery to maximize product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Shutdown, disassemble, and clean equipment and work areas.
  • Routinely inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Observe and report any known/suspected food safety or quality concerns.
  • Properly document and record all product and food safety information as required per internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Work with team members to complete all other duties in accordance with SOPs, FDA Guidelines, GMPs, safety policies, etc.

 

What’s in it for You:

  • $25 to $28/hr
  • 4-Day Work Schedule - Monday – Thursday, approx. 8:00am – 6:30pm. (Shifts may very based on position)
