Assembler
gpac has partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing company that is seeking a full-time Assembler to join its team. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity on 1st shift with a company located right in your backyard.
Assembler Responsibilities
Assemble motors, gearboxes, and electromechanical components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring devices
Read and follow assembly drawings, bills of materials, and standard operating procedures
Support multiple production areas as priorities shift throughout the day or week
Maintain quality standards while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
Experience assembling electric motors, gearboxes, wiring, or other electromechanical components
Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Soldering or basic electrical experience is a plus
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices is preferred
