What You Will Do
Depending on your specific area of expertise, you will lead and expand a practice focused on:
- Transactional: Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, financing, and development projects.
- Litigation: Representing developers, commercial landlords/tenants, investors, and lenders in complex disputes involving land use, zoning, construction, contract breaches, and commercial foreclosures.
- Client Management: Maintaining and deepening relationships with your existing book of business while leveraging the firm's broader practice areas to cross-sell services.
- Leadership: Mentoring associates and contributing strategically to the growth of the Seattle office and the national Real Estate practice group.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: J.D. from an accredited law school and active, good-standing membership in the Washington State Bar (WSBA).
- Track Record: Proven experience as a Partner (or senior counsel ready to transition) within a dedicated Real Estate practice.
- Portable Practice: A verifiable, portable book of business of at least $350,000.
- Business Acumen: Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and client service.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of collaborative teamwork.
