Our client, a highly respected intellectual property boutique, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex litigation, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of an established and well-regarded practice.

Unlike larger full-service firms where IP can be one of many practice areas, this firm is dedicated exclusively to intellectual property law. Attorneys benefit from collaborating with experienced IP practitioners while representing innovative companies, entrepreneurs, and established businesses across a broad range of intellectual property matters.

What You'll Do

  • Handle sophisticated intellectual property litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Represent clients in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and related commercial disputes

  • Develop litigation strategy and provide practical business-focused legal counsel

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other substantive filings

  • Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and work with expert witnesses

  • Collaborate with highly experienced intellectual property attorneys on complex matters

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Participate in business development and contribute to the continued growth of the practice

  • Mentor junior attorneys and support team development

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active bar admission and ability to practice in Washington

  • Significant intellectual property litigation experience

  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

  • Experience managing complex litigation matters and client relationships

  • Trial experience or substantial deposition experience preferred

  • Demonstrated business development experience is a plus

  • Attorneys with a portable book of business are encouraged to apply
