Job Description

We're wanting a well established and growing mechanical services contractor in the Seattle metro area, is seeking a driven and relationship focused Commercial HVAC Business Development Representative to join their team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building long term client relationships, and delivering consultative solutions that provide measurable value.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Potential Earnings: $120,000-$200,000

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday

Location

  • Greater Seattle Metro Area

Position Overview

In this role, you will develop new commercial business by calling on facility managers, property managers, business owners, and executive decision makers. You will identify customer needs, demonstrate financial value, and position preventative HVAC maintenance agreements as a strategic investment that reduces operating costs and improves equipment performance.

This is a consultative sales position focused on relationship building and selling value, not competing on price.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through consistent cold calling and networking
  • Build relationships with commercial decision makers
  • Conduct executive level sales presentations
  • Develop financial and life cycle cost analyses that demonstrate return on investment
  • Prepare customized proposals for prospective clients
  • Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Become a trusted advisor by understanding customer business objectives and operational challenges

Qualifications

  • Proven success in B2B or consultative sales
  • Experience selling services, maintenance programs, or other intangible solutions preferred
  • Strong cold calling experience by phone and in person
  • Ability to communicate financial ROI and business value
  • Self motivated, competitive, and results driven
  • Excellent presentation and relationship building skills
  • Mechanical aptitude is beneficial, but HVAC industry experience is not required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
