Family Law Attorney

Are you an experienced Family Law Attorney looking to join a respected and growing practice? Our client is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience to handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and other domestic relations matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on meaningful client-facing work, manage complex cases, and play a key role in a collaborative and successful legal team while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Manage family law matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda

  • Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court appearances

  • Handle discovery, depositions, and case strategy development

  • Advise clients on custody, support, property division, and related family law issues

  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process

  • Maintain regular client communication and provide strategic legal guidance

  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements

Qualifications

  • J.D. and active State Bar admission

  • 5+ years of family law experience

  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills

  • Experience handling contested family law matters independently

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional client service

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
