Commercial Litigation Associate

A well-established Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Seattle office. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated business disputes, take an active role in case strategy, and gain substantial responsibility in a collaborative and professional environment.

The firm represents businesses ranging from closely held companies to larger organizations across a variety of complex commercial matters. Attorneys are encouraged to take ownership of their cases while receiving support and mentorship from experienced litigators.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters through various stages of the case process
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy memoranda
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy
• Work closely with partners and clients on complex business disputes

Qualifications

• Active Washington Bar license or ability to obtain admission
• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Experience with commercial, business, contract, shareholder, partnership, real estate, or related civil litigation matters preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience handling depositions and court appearances
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail

Salary: $165,000 – $225,000
