Job Description

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for excavation, underground wet utilities, grading, and other related scopes of work. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring competitive bids. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cost estimates for excavation, underground utilities, grading, and related projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Prepare bid proposals and present estimates to clients.
• Maintain updated cost databases and pricing models.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in excavation and underground utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of excavation methods, wet utilities, and grading practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
