Confidential Opportunity: Embroidery Technician / Screen Printer

Chippewa Valley, WI | Full-Time | On-Site

A fast-growing custom apparel company in the Chippewa Valley is confidentially seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Embroidery Technician / Screen Printer to join its expanding production team.

This is a hands-on production role responsible for creating high-quality custom apparel through embroidery and screen printing processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain embroidery machines and/or screen printing equipment
  • Set up jobs including hooping garments, loading designs, and preparing screens
  • Mix inks, match colors, and ensure design consistency
  • Inspect finished products for quality and troubleshoot production issues
  • Read and follow work orders and production schedules
  • Maintain production timelines in a high-volume environment
  • Assist with inventory management of garments, inks, threads, and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure customer expectations are met

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Previous embroidery, screen printing, or apparel decoration experience preferred
  • Experience with Wilcom software is highly valued
  • Knowledge of:
    • Digitizing images
    • Stitch density
    • Pull compensation differences
    • Embroidery setup from caps to flats
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
