Job Description

Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery used in food manufacturing

  • Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

  • Respond promptly to equipment failures and work to minimize downtime

  • Support the installation and setup of new equipment and systems

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow safety and sanitation standards

  • Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations

  • Experience in an industrial or food manufacturing maintenance role

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills (including 208V, 277V, and 480V systems)

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, sensors, PLC troubleshooting, and PM procedures

  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols is a plus

  • Self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
