Estimator | Commercial Construction

A well-established design-build General Contractor in the Milwaukee area is looking to add an Estimator to their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved early in the construction process and wants to work with a collaborative team on diverse commercial projects throughout the region.
What you’ll be doing:
• Prepare conceptual through final estimates for commercial construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed scopes of work
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Work closely with project management, field, design, and ownership teams throughout preconstruction
• Assist with budgeting, value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost analysis
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Participate in project handoffs from preconstruction into operations
What they’re looking for:
• Commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience
• General Contractor experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Experience with conceptual estimating and design-build projects is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Someone who wants to be part of a team and grow long-term with a reputable contractor
