Job Description

If you love turning home designs into clean, buildable plans, this one's for you. A growing residential construction client is seeking a drafter to produce construction drawings for new single-family homes.

What You'll Do

• Produce construction drawings for new homes, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans and details
• Turn sketches, redlines and design input into accurate, permit-ready plan sets
• Revise plans for customer options, structural changes and code requirements
• Work with designers, estimators, engineers and the field team so plans are buildable and on schedule
• Keep plan libraries, standards and drawing files organized and up to date

What You Bring

• Experience drafting residential homes, with builder or architectural experience a plus
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit or similar software
• Working knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes
• The ability to read and interpret construction documents and redlines
• A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage several projects at once

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year (DOE)
