Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC in Jacksonville

Job Description

I am partnered with a full-service A&E consulting firm with multiple locations throughout the United States and they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer. My client offers health, dental, vision, 401K, paid parental leave, tremendous growth opportunities and more!

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in design, layout, and analysis for HVAC and plumbing systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
• Experience working on publicly funded and municipal projects is a plus
• Experience using Revit
• Project Management experience preferred
• Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients and other disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Project management and client interaction
• Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers
• Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems
• Load calculations, life cycle costing and energy modeling
• Assist in the development of contract specifications and research the application of new procedures and/or products
