A well-established and respected crop input provider in South Central Nebraska is seeking a Sales Agronomist to support farmers with customized crop solutions and agronomic expertise. This is a full-time position offering a great opportunity for a driven individual to make an immediate impact within a close-knit, agriculture-focused community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement customized crop plans in coordination with growers
Provide recommendations on seed, fertilizer, and crop protection solutions
Build and maintain long-term relationships to become the trusted agronomic advisor of choice
Support the integration of proprietary and value-added products into customer programs
Communicate financial program offerings when applicable
Maintain detailed records, ensure confidentiality, and follow up consistently with customers
Prioritize safety in all operations and decisions
Collaborate with internal team members and assist with other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of agronomy sales or crop advising experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company goals
Familiarity with agronomic inputs and precision agriculture tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
