Job Description: Project Architect (Revit Experience Required)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Architect who is proficient in Revit software ande has a min of 5 years experiance with it. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design and development of projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and utilizing Revit as a key tool for project execution. This is a pivotal role where your expertise in Revit will contribute to the successful delivery of complex architectural projects.
Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design and Development: Lead the design process and develop architectural concepts, ensuring they align with project objectives, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Project Management: Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to establish project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
- Revit Modeling and Documentation: Utilize Revit software to create accurate and detailed 3D models, architectural drawings, construction documents, and visualizations. Ensure the integrity and consistency of Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
- BIM Coordination: Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., structural engineers, MEP consultants) to integrate their designs and coordinate clash detection using Revit's BIM capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of architectural drawings, models, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, designers, drafters, and other team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting their professional growth.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to architectural design and Revit software. Share knowledge and promote the adoption of efficient workflows and processes.
Requirements:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Architect, with a strong emphasis on architectural design and documentation using Revit.
- Proficiency in Revit: Extensive experience with Revit software, including 3D modeling, family creation, construction documentation, and collaboration using Revit Server or BIM 360.
- Architectural Expertise: In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction techniques, and materials. Ability to translate design concepts into executable plans.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to convey design ideas and concepts.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven track record of analyzing complex architectural challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and making informed decisions.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Experience with project management software is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in producing accurate architectural documentation and ensuring the integrity of Revit models.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Professional licensure or certification is preferred.
