Commercial Loan Officer in Concord

Job Description

A growing, community bank is looking to add an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to its team. The right individual will have a demonstrated history of loan production, business development, and credit acumen.

What You Will Do:

• Originate, evaluate, and prepare commercial loans in compliance with established guidelines
• Build and nourish relationships with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients
• Contribute to and exceed assigned loan volume/production goals
• Effectively grow fee, deposit, and portfolio revenue through business development and presenting solutions to clients
• Be the point person between client and internal departments in the loan process
• Represent the bank in the local community

What You Will Need:

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience with an emphasis on business development or portfolio management
• Strong referral / center of influence network. In-market preferred.
• Basic understanding of loan structure processes, underwriting, and regulations associated with bank lending
• Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and sales skills
• Desire to be compensated based on production
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
• Travel within the local market may be necessary
