Company Overview

We are a leading construction firm specializing in structural steel fabrication and erection for commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking a dedicated Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee our projects with precision and efficiency.

Position Summary

The Structural Steel Project Manager will manage all aspects of structural steel fabrication and erection projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role coordinates teams and stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute structural steel projects from start to finish.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress.
  • Coordinate with fabricators, erectors, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment.
  • Review shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Manage change orders, resolve issues, and provide project updates to stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Tekla software is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel processes and industry standards (e.g., AISC).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
