Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Accounting Manager to support our dynamic manufacturing operations in our Long Island corporate office. This is a critical, customer-facing role that blends financial expertise with strategic insights to drive performance, enhance pricing decisions, and support plant-level metrics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze plant performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department leaders.

  • Perform in-depth financial modeling and variance analysis to support leadership decisions.

  • Provide strategic pricing recommendations and partner with cross-functional teams to guide cost and margin decisions.

  • Track key performance indicators and develop reports focused on plant efficiency and cost reduction.

  • Support capital project analysis, asset utilization planning, and new product financial evaluations.

  • Provide audit support and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of financial analysis or cost/general accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Experience with ERP implementation and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with integrity.
