Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about litigation and ready to contribute to the firm's continued success across various business sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in federal, state, and local courts
- Handle all phases of litigation from intake to trial, including discovery, depositions, trial, and appeals
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to best serve our clients' interests
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Collaborate with team members and partners on complex cases
- Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in New York
- 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven track record of success in litigation
- Experience in alarm, insurance, or security guard industries is a plus
