Superintendent in North Miami Beach

Job Description

A highly respected General Contractor is seeking a Superintendent to join their growing team! They have a backlog of local and regional projects. They need a Superintendent ready to go where needed to complete these highly esteemed projects. The company is looking for a Superintendent that has thorough knowledge in commercial construction processes. This is an exciting opportunity that most people wait a career for!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site, crews, materials, and equipment throughout all phases of construction
• Enforce safety compliance and conduct regular site inspections to uphold OSHA and company safety protocols
• Maintain and update project schedules, manage workflow sequencing, and communicate progress with the project management team
• Identify and resolve job site issues, conflicts, or delays to keep construction moving efficiently

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• B.S. in a Construction related degree is preferred, but other applicants will also be considered
• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations with a proven history of upholding those policies and procedures
• Extensive knowledge in construction processes that aid in completing projects on time within budget
