Survey Crew Chief

A well-established engineering and surveying company in the Pittsburgh area is hiring immediately for a Survey Crew Chief with field leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field crews on boundary, topographic, as-built and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, construction staking, and flood elevation certificates
• Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, and robotic instruments
• Interpret plans and legal descriptions; ensure accurate data collection and documentation
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with office staff
• Oversee and uphold all safety and equipment standards
• Maintain relationships and communication with clients and contractors

Qualifications

• Field and Leadership experience as a Crew Chief or Party Chief
• Proficient with Trimble, AutoCAD Civil 3D and latest survey tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, trustworthy and detail-oriented
