gpac is working with a client company who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead third shift maintenance operations at their manufacturing facility located in west Ohio. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and a proactive maintenance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and schedule daily maintenance staff (mechanical, electrical, and utilities).
Lead troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, and GMP standards.
Coordinate with production to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
Maintain CMMS records, parts inventory, and maintenance documentation.
Train and mentor technicians in safety and technical best practices.
Qualifications
2+ years in maintenance leadership, in manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of PLCs, refrigeration systems, CIP systems, and utility infrastructure.
Understanding of food safety regulations and preventative maintenance systems.
Strong communication and team leadership skills.
