Commercial Construction Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Client Overview: Our client, a respected and long-standing general contractor in the Milwaukee area, is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of diverse commercial projects and play a key role in delivering meaningful, community-focused work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain strong communication and alignment throughout each project.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

  • Support bidding and procurement efforts, working closely with estimating and field teams.

  • Lead project meetings, resolve challenges proactively, and ensure a high level of quality and safety.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction project management or related roles (assistant PMs with strong experience will also be considered).

  • Knowledge of commercial construction practices and processes.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
