Job Title: Controller/Bookkeeper

About Us: We are a well-established law firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Controller/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our firm’s financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Manage client billing and accounts payable (approximately 70% of workload)
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Oversee daily banking activities and cash flow management
Prepare financial reports for management review
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing or payment inquiries
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Accounting (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5–7 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
Prior law firm experience preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge of billing, accounts payable, and general ledger functions
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
