Job Description

Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney – Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Confidential Hiring Process

Compensation: Starting in the low $100Ks for mid-level attorneys, with bonus potential to double base salary

A well-regarded plaintiff's personal injury boutique in Austin is expanding its practice and seeking a litigation associate to join its tight-knit team. The firm maintains a steady caseload, including high-stakes personal injury matters with multi-million dollar exposure. This is a strong opportunity for a plaintiff’s PI attorney who wants real courtroom experience and a supportive working environment led by a responsive and kind managing partner.

Why This Role Stands Out:
• Lead your own cases: First-chair lower-value claims and second-chair high-value litigation
• Bonus potential often exceeds base salary—tailored on a case-by-case basis
• One day/week WFH after onboarding (with potential for more flexibility)
• No micromanagement—work independently with trusted support staff
• No overwhelming docket—focused caseload for quality litigation

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a docket of approximately 30 personal injury cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Work directly with the managing attorney on strategy for complex cases
• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Ideal Candidate:
• 4–10+ years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Trial experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent writing and negotiation skills
• Organized, dependable, and ready to grow with the firm
