CNC Programmer – Industrial Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our industrial manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work with a range of materials including metals, plastics, and composites, and play a critical role in ensuring production accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for milling and/or turning centers based on part specifications
  • Set up CNC machines to ensure proper tool selection, work holding, and program execution
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine machining processes
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate part production
  • Perform test runs and make necessary program adjustments for quality and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation for programs, tooling, and production processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in programming, setup, and machining practices

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or CNC certification preferred)
  • Proven experience programming CNC machines in an industrial or job shop environment
  • Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of G-code, tool paths, and CNC machining principles
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
