Job Description

Gpac is seeking qualified candidates for an Architectural Metal Fabricator position at a well-respected, national construction fabricator. The successful candidate will have experience in custom metal fabrication and installation for architectural projects, and will be responsible for creating high-quality metal products for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Interpret architectural drawings and create custom metal products such as staircases, railings, doors, and windows
  • Work with various metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to shape, cut, and join metals
  • Ensure that all products are fabricated to high quality standards
  • Install metal products on-site at construction projects
  • Communicate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that project requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication and installation
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
  • Knowledge of metalworking techniques including welding, cutting, and shaping
  • Ability to work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
