Retail Services Processes Manager

This is a professional business industry. 

#Kansas peeps: Manhattan, Salina, Hutchinson, Wichita, McPherson, Topeka. Do you live near one of these cities? I am looking for an Organizational Leader in a customer-facing business, such as hospitality, finance, (banking, trust, wealth, insurance), professional retail services. 

 

I have a new job order for a client company. We seek an expert in Organizational Leadership. The industry is finance-related, and the committee is interested in finding someone who is at the top in the area for examining an organization, processes, and leading the department managers in a common goal of efficiency, growth, regulatory compliance, and best practices. There is no people management aspect, but leadership, support, and the potential need to encourage others and win them over.

 

The second foreseen phase and long-term goal of the position is to continue with training, updates of processes, accountability, and audit oversight of the separate locations and communities this company serves. Growth through training, awareness, needs-based conversations, but not sales. Meanwhile, you will keep your finger on the pulse of each location, communicating with the local manager and verifying that everyone continues to follow best practices every quarter or six months.

 

While there are no sales goals or incentives in this company, training all customer-facing employees to hone their RADARs and ask probing questions to better serve customers, is the endgame. Whether the customer needs something as simple as paperless documents or a product that can better serve the customer, is where the heart of this company is.

 

This employment opportunity is open due to a retirement, and strategic growth initiative. This role has taken the leadership diligent thought and planning to create the ideal job description.

 

This strategic resource manager ultimately impacts the customer-facing employee culture by creating an atmosphere that fosters inspiration and motivation. The employee will be prepared to best serve all who come into contact with this financial company.

 

Essentials are--ability to see the big picture across all locations, centralizing the operational foundation, and standardizing procedures for anything regulatory, ie: internal controls, risk, checkmarks.

 

Target footprint for this person to live: The Salina/Topeka/Wichita triangle.

  • Ability to work with on-site managers, and answer directly to the CEO 
  • 10 years of experience in Organizational Leadership
  • Leadership history "One of the major pieces of this position for me is the ability to build/grow/lead people and the team." 
  • Organizational Leadership principles.
