Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team. The CNC Swiss Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Swiss-style machines to produce precision components for our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss-style lathes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Make machine adjustments and offsets to maintain tight tolerances
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure optimal operation
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to meet production goals
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC Swiss machines in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
    • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
    • Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or equivalent)
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
