Tax Senior Associate – CPA | Hybrid | Growth Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex tax returns including corporations, partnerships, S-corps, trusts, and individuals.
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients with minimal supervision.
  • Review and mentor staff accountant work; provide guidance and technical support.
  • Conduct tax research on technical issues and assist with tax planning opportunities.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information and explain tax matters.
  • Ensure accurate, timely completion of returns and compliance with all regulations.
  • Assist managers and partners with special projects and firm initiatives.

Qualifications

  • CPA license or actively pursuing (required).
  • 3-5 years public accounting tax experience.
  • Solid technical knowledge across multiple entity types (1040, 1120/1120S, 1065).
  • Experience with tax software (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong research, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000 – $130,000+ (flexible for the right candidate).
