A leading home builder with a long-standing reputation for quality craftsmanship and employee-focused culture is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their growing team.
This individual will play a key role in supporting both field and office operations — ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting the company’s mission to build exceptional homes and teams.
Partner with leadership and field managers to identify and fulfill staffing needs for construction and office roles.
Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.
Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs; maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
Support performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Coordinate safety and compliance training in partnership with field management.
Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives that foster a positive, team-oriented culture.
3+ years of HR experience, ideally within construction or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
