Project Manager – Commercial Construction
A well-established and financially strong Commercial Construction firm in the area is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects across industrial, office, retail, multifamily, and hospitality sectors. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with estimating during preconstruction
Interpret construction drawings and specifications
Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators
Manage subcontractor procurement and contracts
Resolve technical issues and RFIs
Oversee project documentation, billings, and cost forecasting
Lead scheduling and progress tracking
Ensure quality assurance and safety compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience/certifications
5+ years managing commercial or light industrial projects
Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and structural methods
Skilled in project financial management and forecasting
Experience with subcontractor management and contract administration
Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
Highly organized and solutions-oriented
