A growing agribusines in Northern Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated Field Agronomist / Applicator to join its team. This full-time position blends crop input sales and custom application, ideal for someone who enjoys both working directly with growers and operating equipment in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Sell fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local growers
• Provide agronomic support and fertility recommendations
• Operate sprayers, spreaders, and tender equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle, load, and apply agricultural inputs according to regulations
• Maintain accurate application and sales records
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and seasonal facility operations
• Collaborate with agronomy and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
• Experience in agriculture, agronomy, or ag retail preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate application equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Pesticide Applicator’s License preferred; CDL a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
