Insurance Defense Attorney | Orlando, FL
A respected Florida law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Manage a caseload involving general liability, premises liability, automobile, and property damage defense.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
• Develop case strategies, evaluate liability and damages, and provide accurate reporting to clients and carriers.
• Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and claims professionals to achieve cost-effective and favorable outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
• Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 3–6 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience.
• Trial and deposition experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative litigation team.
