Mechanical Design Engineer – Precision Machinery
This newly available role focuses on developing and improving mechanical systems from concept to installation while supporting continuous improvement across engineering and production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop machine components and assemblies using AutoCAD or NX.
Support equipment builds, testing, and on-site startups when required.
Manage and update drawings, part lists, and revision history for all projects.
Work with project and production teams to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality goals are met.
Assist with material setup and documentation through SAP or similar ERP systems.
Provide technical input to internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
Contribute to engineering process improvements and standardization.
Up to 20% travel required domestic and international.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of mechanical design or machinery experience.
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD systems (AutoCAD, NX preferred).
Familiarity with SAP or related systems a plus.
