A fast-growing, highly respected commercial General Contractor in Northeast Ohio is adding a Construction Estimator with Business Development experience due to continued growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining estimating expertise with client relationships and pursuit strategy — not a back-office position.
You’ll play a key role in winning work, shaping pricing strategies, and supporting projects from early pursuit through handoff, all while working in a collaborative, people-first environment.
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
Analyze drawings, specs, schedules, and general conditions
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost efficiencies
Support pursuit strategies, negotiated work, and budget pricing
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Act as a bridge between estimating and operations for smooth project transitions
Experience in construction estimating with exposure to business development, sales, or client-facing work
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Proficiency with tools like Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar
Confident communicator with a relationship-driven mindset
