Director of Commercial Service Operations

Location: Hybrid from Greater Philadelphia Area
Compensation: $175,000 - $230,000

Our client, a major player in transportation and risk management industries, is seeking a Director of Commercial Service Operations. Lead a growing team servicing fortune 500 corporate clients in a dynamic company with a global reach.
This senior leadership position manages oversight of the end‑to‑end client experience ensuring long‑term retention, satisfaction, and the ongoing expansion of strategic partnerships. While overseeing the commercial servicing team, the Director of Commercial Service Operations is ultimately responsible for identifying forward‑looking cost‑optimization opportunities aligned with client’s broader organizational objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary steward of the client relationship, driving retention, satisfaction, and strategic partnership growth. 
  • Lead the client service team to ensure consistent delivery of all commitments, solutions, and service initiatives. 
  • Evaluate insurance programs, conduct detailed coverage analyses, and provide strategic recommendations on placements and contract terms. 
  • Identify and communicate strategic savings and optimization opportunities aligned with client’s broader business objectives. 
  • Develop and present reporting on account performance, new business opportunities, and growth trends to support leadership forecasting and planning. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance markets, and key external partners to enhance service quality and market positioning. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert to internal teams. 

 Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 
  • Commercial insurance certifications and designations are advantageous. 
  • 5+ years in direct servicing experience  
  • 5+ years in leadership roles 
  • Knowledgeable about fleet insurance
