Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations while meeting strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment

  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Support continuous production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures

  • Maintain compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, and food safety regulations

  • Document maintenance activities accurately using CMMS or maintenance logs

  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeovers

  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and sanitation teams

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Equipment & Systems May Include

  • Conveyors, fillers, cappers, labelers, mixers, ovens, and packaging lines

  • PLCs, VFDs, motors, and sensors

  • Pneumatics and hydraulics

  • Refrigeration or thermal processing equipment (preferred, not required)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or regulated manufacturing

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals

  • Experience working in GMP-regulated environments

  • Basic PLC troubleshooting preferred

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification a plus

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends if needed
