Job Description

A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is hiring a Business Development Manager. You'll build relationships with owners, developers and design partners and help grow a steady pipeline of commercial work.

What You'll Do

• Identify and pursue new commercial project opportunities
• Build lasting relationships with owners, developers and design partners
• Partner with estimating and operations on pursuits and proposals
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
• Track pursuits, hit rates and pipeline health

What You Bring

• 5+ years of business development or client-facing experience in construction
• General contractor or related industry background preferred
• Comfort presenting to owners and decision-makers
• Strong follow-through and relationship skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
