GPAC just partnered with a growing manufacturing company that is seeking an Industrial Machine Builder / Mechanical Technician.
This isn't repetitive production assembly. In this hands-on role you'll build and rebuild large, custom industrial equipment and fabricated assemblies, from reading the drawings to getting every component fitted, aligned and ready to run.
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years in machine building, industrial maintenance, machinery repair or rebuild, mechanical fitting, heavy assembly or custom fabrication
- Intermediate blueprint reading
- Experience with mechanical fits, tolerances and precision alignment
- Comfort with calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
