Job Description

A well-established and growing industrial manufacturing company in the Chicago area is looking for a Manufacturing Estimator to join its team.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specifications and quote requests.
• Develop manufacturing routings and cost estimates.
• Estimate materials, machining, labor, tooling and outside services.
• Work with Sales, Engineering and Production to evaluate manufacturability.
• Improve estimating accuracy and identify cost savings.

Qualifications

• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Quoting or estimating experience preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
