Traveling Superintendent Construction

A well-established commercial contractor with projects nationwide is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee interior build-outs for medical and restaurant projects across the United States. This company is known for delivering high-quality projects with a focus on precision, safety, and on-time completion. Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day job site activities and oversee all field operations

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure schedules are met

  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and company standards

  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and resolve jobsite issues proactively

  • Lead project meetings, maintain daily reports, and communicate progress to project managers

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

  • Represent the company professionally while traveling and working with clients on-site

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience on medical and restaurant interior construction projects 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and tight project schedules

  • Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, codes, and finishes

  • Willingness to travel extensively (projects are nationwide)

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Proficiency with construction management software and daily reporting tools

  • OSHA certification or other safety training preferred
