Construction Litigation Associate Attorney – Portland, OR

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Portland office. This is an exciting opportunity to handle complex construction-related disputes while working alongside highly regarded trial attorneys in the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including defect claims, contract disputes, lien/collections issues, and insurance coverage.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.

  • Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

  • Provide legal analysis, case strategy, and client counseling.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-value and complex cases.

Qualifications:

  • 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus in construction law, real estate disputes, or insurance defense.

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Comfortable managing cases independently while also working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Oregon Bar admission required (Washington admission a plus).

  • Trial or arbitration experience strongly preferred.
